Terms of sale

1. Scope
These Terms of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales made by YardRange ("we", "us", "the Seller") to consumers and non-business buyers ("you", "the Customer") who buy the products offered on the YardRange website, yardrange.co.uk (the "Products").
They set out how orders, payment, delivery and returns work. They may be supplemented by specific conditions shown on the website before an order is placed. They apply to the exclusion of any other terms.
These Terms of Sale may be updated. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the website on the day you place it.
2. Products
We sell home golf practice equipment: golf practice nets, hitting mats, putting mats, practice packs and accessories.
The main characteristics of each Product (specifications, dimensions, materials, what is in the box) are shown on its product page. Please read them before you order, and measure your space. Photos and illustrations are as accurate as we can make them, but some may show the Product in use with items that are not included. The "What's in the box" information on the product page is what you receive.
3. Availability
Products are offered while stocks last, as shown when you place your order. If a Product becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you as soon as possible and refund you in full within 14 days.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
5. Orders
5.1 Placing an order
Choose your Products on the website. Before you confirm, you can check the details of your order and its total price and correct any mistakes.
Your order is recorded when you accept these Terms of Sale and confirm payment. The contract is formed when we email you to confirm that we have accepted your order. You can follow your order with the tracking link we email you when it ships.
We sell to consumers for their personal use. We may refuse orders for large quantities of the same Product (more than 10 items), or orders from a customer with whom we have a payment dispute on a previous order.
5.2 Changing an order
To change an order, email contact@yardrange.co.uk no later than the business day after you place it and before it ships. If we cannot make the change, we will refund any amount paid within 14 days, unless you prefer an exchange.
5.3 Cancelling an order
You can cancel an order free of charge until it ships by emailing contact@yardrange.co.uk. After it ships, you can still cancel under your right to cancel (section 10).
6. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the total price you pay for the Products. Prices include UK VAT. Delivery to the addresses we serve in the UK is free; the delivery price, if any, is always shown before you confirm your order.
Prices are those shown on the website when you place your order. We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one confirmed in your order. If we make an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch and you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
7. Payment
Payment is taken in full when you place your order, through a secure payment page, by:
- debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro);
- the other methods shown at checkout (for example Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or PayPal, where available).
Where an instalment option such as Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3 is offered, it is provided by a third-party lender under its own terms.
8. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in mainland Great Britain. Orders are prepared within 1–4 business days and delivered within 5–12 business days in total, with tracking. Full details are in our Shipping policy.
Delivery happens when you, or someone you name, take physical possession of the Products. Unless a Product is unavailable, your order is delivered in one shipment. Large items (nets, packs) may arrive in several parcels.
If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the order date, or by a delivery date we agreed with you, you can treat the contract as ended and we will refund you in full within 14 days.
We are responsible for the Products until they are delivered to you. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us and we will replace it or refund you.
9. Ownership and risk
The Products become yours once we have received full payment. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or someone you name, take physical possession of them.
10. Your right to cancel and our 30-day returns
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the day you receive your Products to cancel your order, without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days from delivery.
To cancel, email contact@yardrange.co.uk with your order number, or use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, or send any other clear statement. We will confirm receipt by email and send you the return instructions.
Please send the Products back within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. Returns are free: we provide the return label or arrange collection, and we do not charge a restocking fee.
We refund the price of the Products and any delivery charge you paid, within 14 days of receiving the Products back or proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. The refund is made to your original payment method.
You may handle the Products as you would in a shop to check them. If they have been used beyond that, or are damaged or incomplete, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value. A Product that arrives damaged or faulty is covered by section 11, not this section.
11. Your legal rights and our warranty
We are under a legal duty to supply Products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- within 30 days of delivery, you can reject a faulty Product for a full refund;
- after 30 days, you can ask for a repair or replacement, and if that fails or is not possible, a refund or price reduction;
- a fault that appears within 6 months of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless we prove otherwise;
- you can make a claim for up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland).
We pay the cost of returning faulty Products. Refunds for faulty Products are made within 14 days of us agreeing that you are entitled to one, to your original payment method.
These rights do not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, accident or failure to follow the instructions, or use for business purposes.
11.1 Arrived damaged
If a Product arrives damaged, please email photos of the item and its packaging to contact@yardrange.co.uk, ideally within 48 hours of delivery. We will send you a replacement part or Product free of charge, without asking you to send the damaged item back. If it is no longer available, we will refund you in full. All our shipments are insured. This does not limit your legal rights above.
11.2 YardRange warranty
In addition to your legal rights, every YardRange product comes with a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery. If a covered part fails under normal home use, we replace it free of charge. To claim, email us your order number and photos of the problem. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights.
12. Personal data
We need your personal data to process your order and issue invoices. It may be shared with the partners who prepare, deliver and take payment for your order. How we use your data, and your rights, are explained in our Privacy policy.
13. Intellectual property
The content of the website (text, photos, logos, videos) belongs to YardRange or its partners and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy it without our written permission.
14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund of anything you have paid for Products not yet received.
15. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the Products.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive you of the protection given by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. If you live in the UK, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, depending on where you live.

17. Acceptance
By placing an order on the website, you accept these Terms of Sale in full.
