The mat is 280 cm long and 29 cm wide. Allow about 3.5 m in length and 1 m in width so you can stand comfortably and swing the putter.

Yes, on any flat surface: wooden floors, tiles, short-pile carpet or a patio. The anti-slip base keeps it in place. On thick or uneven carpet the ball may not roll true, so a flat hard floor gives the best results.
